Xiaocun (Tiffany) Qiu
Founder, CEO, Economist
Tiffany has over ten years of research experience in the industry, public sector, and academia. Before founding Oxbridge Economics, she worked as an Economist for Goldman Sachs, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and Harvard Evidence for Policy Design. Tiffany has strong knowledge and an established network in Asia—especially the Greater China region—and the US. Her expertise encompasses economic growth, development, public policies, and entrepreneurship and she has published many influential reports. Tiffany holds an MPA in Economics and Quantitative Analysis from Harvard University.
Prof. Ruiyun (Rayna) Xu
Partner, Algorithm Scientist
Prof. Ruiyun Xu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems from City University of Hong Kong. Before joining MU, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and as a senior research assistant at the University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, financial technology, knowledge graph, and blockchain. She has published papers in Journal of Management Information Systems, Quarterly Journal of Economics and Management, International Conference on Information Systems, IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, etc. She also holds two U.S. Patents on textual data search methods.
Dr. Yuanshuo (Henry) Qu
Partner, Data Scientist
Henry holds an MS in Statistics and a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Rutgers University. He has six years of experience and is currently a Senior Data Scientist at Indigo Ag and Chief Data Scientist for the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program. His areas of expertise include data analysis and modeling, commodity market research, and agricultural economics. He has published 5 journal articles, 12 conference papers, participated in 2 USDA research projects, and received 6 patents for plant variety protection.
Prof. Yixiang Wu
Partner, Applied Mathematician
After finishing his PhD in mathematics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Yixiang is currently an assistant professor at Middle Tennessee State University. He was formerly a non-tenure track assistant professor at Vanderbilt University, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. His areas of expertise include applied mathematics, mathematical modeling and numerical simulation.
Lili Lan
Partner, Greater China Sales
Lily holds an MBA degree from Hong Kong Baptist University and worked as a database agency sales for Wind Consulting Limited (Hong Kong). Her areas of expertise include database management, sales and marketing.
Prof. Jianliang Zhao
Advisor
Prof. Jianliang Zhao is the Presidential Chair Professor at CUHK (Shenzhen), the Director of the Center on Blockchain & IT of Shenzhen Finance Institute of Data Economy. He is the holder of the IBM Professor Academic Award and the Changjiang Chair Professor of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University. He specializes in fintech, blockchain technology and business.
